In late-Febuary 2024 Bodhivamsa will be holding a new evening study group for those wanting to take their interest in Buddhism further.
The study evenings follow the First Year of the 4 year Mitra study course. The first year is available to those who have completed the Level 1 and/or the Level 2 Buddhism courses and will also be good for those who have previously done some Mitra study but had to stop for whatever reason.
The study is especially relevant to those who may be considering becoming a Mitra in the future or those wishing to deepen their understanding of Buddhism.
The course is made up of 6 modules and each module takes 6 weeks to complete. You can join at the start of any module.
Those attending will be asked to commit to come along for the whole of a module of 6 weeks. Each week there will be about 4 pages of material to study before coming along to the evening. Because of the preparatory work required by those attending, people cannot just drop-in to an evening.
The study session runs from 7pm until 9:30pm.
