Basic Buddhism 2 picks up on themes from the first six-week course exploring them in greater depth and introducing new topics.
This course is perfect for people who have completed Basic Buddhism 1 or have been attending Saturday Introduction sessions for a while and would like to take things a little further.

Week 1 Buddha – The transformation, achievements and legacy of Siddhārtha Gautama Buddha
Week 2 Imagination – Beyond words. With imagination from Human mind to archetypal Buddha mind
Week 3 Dharma – Buddhist teaching, truths and path for Vision and Transformation
Week 4 Depths – Pointing beyond the graspable, for the heart-mind – the Heart Sutra
Week 5 Sangha – Ways and means in the practicing community
Week 6 Compassion – In the imaginal with the Arya Sanggha. In communion with the Buddhas, the compassionate.

Please book your place using the form opposite. You will receive an email acknowledgment of your booking immediately. Course notes will be emailed to you a few days before the first session.
If you can, it is best to attend in-person at the Centre but you can attend on Zoom using the link that will be included in the notes.

Is this session suitable for me?
This course is best for people who have completed Basic Buddhism 1 or have recently attended introduction sessions at the Centre for more than six weeks.
How much does it cost?
This is a paid course, which is £60 (£40 concessions) and can be booked with the online booking form.

What do I bring with me?
You will need a notepad and pen, refreshments are provided if you are at the Centre.
