Dharma Day Festival

Sunday, July 2nd @ 10:30 am 4:00 pm

‘Lesser known gems’

On this day we will celebrate the Dharma (the Buddha’s teaching) and look at some wonderful, though lesser-known material. Alongside this we will be keeping in mind Sangharakshita (Bhante), who founded the Triratna Buddhist Community in 1967. For so many of us he is “the man who gave me the Dharma”.

  • 10.30 Introduction to the day, and a talk ‘Dump that gold in the Ganges’ on the Ratthapala Sutta.
  • 11.30 Discussion Groups
  • 12.30 Lunch.
  • 2pm-2.45pm Meditation
  • 3pm Sevenfold Puja, featuring readings about Tara.
