Film Night – Milarepa
January 11, 2025 @ 6:30 pm – 9:15 pm
We’ve not had film nights at the Buddhist Centre for some time, so what could be better than ‘Milarepa’ to re-start them?
This 2007 movie begins the extraordinary story of the title character, who lived in 11th century Tibet, and overcame hardship, family intrigue, violence and self-doubt to become one of Buddhism’s greatest spiritual heroes. And all of it filmed on the breathtakingly scenic Indo-Tibetan border- it’s unmissable!
If possible, come along early to share food and meet people.
This evening will be a fundraiser for the Centre’s expanding activities. Book your ticket below. Please be as generous as possible.
