Friends & Newcomers Night
Thursday, May 26th @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Would you like to know more about the Buddha? Who was he, and what were his teachings? What does the Buddha’s great insight tell us and how can this help us on our Path to Enlightenment? How can teachings from 2,500 years ago help us in our day to day life? These are some of the questions that will be answered by the Friends Night team.
Each week a new topic will be discussed. Over the following weeks discover how to further your meditation practice, and find what hinders you in that practice. Explore with the team stories of the Buddha, and how these stories can be applied to our own lives. Take time to enjoy memories of Sangharakshita – the founder of Triratna Buddhist Order. Join us each week for meditation, refreshments, engaging talks and discussions.
How to Join
You can join us at the Centre ten minutes before the evening begins.
The classes are free but donations are welcome, and there is no need to book in advance. GIVING PAGE
