Friends & Newcomers Night
Thursday, June 2nd @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
The whole of our life is conditioned, this includes all our experience of life. Nothing escapes conditions. What impact do our conditions have on us? The Buddha taught that this being, that becomes, from the arising of this, that arises. This not being, that does not become; from the ceasing of this that ceases. What does this mean and why is it so important to Buddhism?
Each week a new topic will be discussed. Over the following weeks discover how to further your meditation practice, and find what hinders you in that practice. Explore with the team stories of the Buddha, and how these stories can be applied to our own lives. Take time to enjoy memories of Sangharakshita – the founder of Triratna Buddhist Order. Join us each week for meditation, refreshments, engaging talks and discussions.
How to Join
You can join us at the Centre ten minutes before the evening begins.
