Celebrating Dr Ambedkar’s Conversion Day
Today at Freinds night we mark the day 15th October 1956) that the great Indian politician and leader Dr Ambedkar converted to Buddhism inspiring many to follow him.
You can join Freinds Night either in-person at The Centre or Zoom. Please arrive between 7:15pm & 7:30pm or at 8:25pm. (see below)
Each evening will generally run as follows (variations for Mitra Ceremonies and Founders Day puja:
7:30pm Welcome, announcements and brief tune-in
8:00pm Refuges & Precepts, Short Meditation, Just-sitting or The Short Puja
8:25pm Tea break
8:35pm Presentation & Discussion or a second longer Just Sitting beforehand and then a Meditation
9:30pm Evening ends

Is this session suitable for me?
All are welcome who have attended the Centre (for real or online) and have an interest in being part of the Ipswich sangha. You will need to be familar with our two main meditations.
Do I need to attend for the whole session?
This session is in two parts (see above). You can join at the start of either.
Do I need to book?
No. Just turn-up at The Centre or t log-on 5 or 10 minutes before the sessions starts.
