Ipswich Buddhist Centre – Open Day
Saturday, September 26th @ 10:30 am – 3:00 pm
Learn about Meditation & Buddhism in a two taster sessions at your local Buddhist centre.
Buddhism teaches a radical and transformative practise which can help bring greater clarity and meaning to life. Meditation can help calm your mind and enrich your day with a deepened sense of positive emotion and well being. Here in Ipswich we have a thriving Buddhist community with practitioners using Buddhist teachings to guide them in their daily lives. Buddhism isn’t about avoiding the difficulties in life but can help us to fully meet those challenges with a confident and creative attitude.
We’ll have two taster sessions on this open day and you can join in either or both. Each session will include a guided meditation, an introductory talk on Buddhism and a chance to meet some experienced Buddhists. You can join at 10.30am or 12.45pm and both sessions will last approximately two hours.

How to join
Doors open at 10.15am. No need to book. Just turn up. Please bring some vegan food to share at lunchtime.
The event is offered without charge. However, the Centre is powered by your generosity.
