Lunchtime Meditation Session – online

Relax and refresh your mind every weekday lunchtime with the Ipswich Buddhist Centre online.
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (also, Tuesday which includes more instruction)
Every day we will introduce one of the two meditation practices which are part of our vision of a complete system of practice. This session is most suitable for those who already have experience of the two meditations – mindfulness of breathing and the metta bhavana (meditation on loving kindness) There is no need to book. Just drop in and discover what meditation can do for you!
The sessions are similar to those that we normally run at the Centre but, for now, they are online. If you have not been along to the Centre and are new to meditation, you are still very welcome to join this online session and sit in on the meditation, but if you want a more detailed introduction you will find it in our Tuesday lunchtime; Wednesday evening or Saturday morning classes where the meditations are led in more detail. The sessions start at 1pm and will last about 40 minutes in total. The leader, one of our most experienced Mitras in training for ordination, will start the session with a simple introduction to the practice [lasting a few minutes]. Then there will be a 25 minute meditation period. After that, there will be an opportunity to talk over a cup of tea (you will have to make it at home) if you wish.
