Meditation in the Park
Sunday, June 25th @ 10:30 am – 3:30 pm
Meditation in the Park is an opportunity for people to come and try meditation, led by experienced meditation teachers, outside in the beautiful surroundings of Christchurch Park.
There will be two meditations. The first at 10.30am and the second at 11:30am.
We will have guided meditation led by two experienced meditators on the main practices we teach here at the Ipswich Buddhist Centre – the Mindfulness of Breathing, and the Metta Bhavana.
Come on your own or with friends, enjoy a few hours of calm in the beautiful surroundings of the park.
Please bring your own chairs, picnic blankets and/or meditation stools/cushions. An area will be clearly marked out for you to choose your place. Feel free to join us for one or both led meditations.
We will be sitting in one of the circled areas on the image of the park – usually in the shade as much as possible!
The event is free to attend, if you wish to leave a donation you are free to do so.

How to Join In.
The Meditations will be held near the Mansion House in Christchurch Park, we will usually be sitting in the shade in one of the circled areas below. It is advisable to bring a blanket or chair to sit on, and sun protection if it’s hot!
