Men’s Study event – 5 Reflections with Dharmadipa
Sunday, January 16th @ 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
The Upajjhatthana Sutta (Subjects For Contemplation), given by the Buddha 2,500 years ago looks at five facts that one should reflect upon often, whether one is a woman or a man, lay or ordained.
- I am subject to ageing
- I am subject to illness
- I am subject to death
- I will grow separate from all that is dear to me
- I am the owner of my actions
These five help us make the most of our life, and enjoy every second.
Over the past two years, the highly skilled teachers from Padmaloka have not been able to venture forth and give us the benefit of their wisdom. This is a rare opportunity to meet Dhammadipa in person and listen to his wisdom and also pose any question you may have. Join us on this Day at the Centre if you can, it’s not to be missed.
If you can’t make the Centre, maybe you are in isolation or the Centre is already full, then, although not the same experience, it is possible to join on Zoom.
Please bring vegan lunch to share.
