Mitra Ceremony

We are delighted that Frankie Minihane, Vera Tomschak and Rebecca Chung (Becs) have taken the step to become Mitras. Do come along and join the Sangha for a very special celebration.
This is an evening where we welcome those who want to take their commitment to Buddhism further, by becoming a Mitra in the Triratna Buddhist Community. The word Mitra in Sanskrit means ‘friend’ and Frankie, Vera and Rebecca are becoming a friend in the Ipswich Buddhist Sangha.
We look forward to seeing you all there to share in this joyous occasion.
Please bring vegan cake to share.
How to Join
This is a celebration evening and all are welcome. You can join us at the Centre where doors open at 6.30pm.
This evening is offered without charge but donations are welcome, and there is no need to book in advance. GIVING PAGE

No. Just turn up at the Centre 5 or 10 minutes before the celebrations starts.
