Open Day at the Centre

“What can Buddhism do for me?”
The Centre’s first Open Day since the pandemic is finally here. This Open Day will include the Saturday Morning Session, and there will be talks, a chance to learn to meditate and also a presentation and discussion on ‘What is the Centre and what can it do for you?’ Refreshments are available and everyone is welcome.
The Day’s Events
- 10.00 – Doors open
- 10.20 – 11.30 – Introduction to meditation.
- 11.40 – 12.20 – Presentation and discussion on ‘What is the Centre and what can it do for you?’
- 12.30 – 13.45 – Short presentation on ‘What is Buddhism for?: Practicing ethics for happiness and mediation for wisdom’
- 13.45 – 14.00 – Refreshments and discussion
- 14.00 – Finish

This Open Day is suitable for everyone, and all are welcome along.
Do I need to attend the whole session?
It is advisable to stay for the whole day, but you are welcome to come along at any time that suits you.
Do I need to book?
No. Just turn up. If it is your first time, you may prefer to arrive or log-on about 10 minutes early so that we can answer any questions you have about the session.
