Women’s Morning with Dhammadassin
November 29, 2020 @ 10:15 am – 12:30 pm
A morning with Dhammadassin and Carumani, exploring the condensed heart-instructions of the Honeyball Sutta.
The Buddha offers us the means (‘wise attention’) by which ‘unhelpful states cease without remainder’. In a time of ‘weapons, quarrels, brawls, recriminations, malicious words, false speech’, He offers ‘freedom’ instead. In a world of burning need, He offers the heartwood of the Dharma.
Dhammadassin was ordained in 1982 and lived and worked around the London Buddhist Centre for nearly 30 years. She moved to Somerset in 2014 from where she continues to help share the Dharma particularly with the vibrant group in Frome. She is a Private Preceptor to a number of women including Carumani. Recently she has become the President of the Bristol Centre and is also the President of the Taraloka Women’s Retreat Centre.
Open to all women who are familiar with out two principal meditations.
