Young Buddhists Group @ Dharma Day Festival

Sunday, July 17th @ 10:30 am 4:00 pm

Come and join other Young Buddhists as part of our exciting Dharma Day Festival.

Dharma is a Sanskrit word we use to describe the Buddha’s teaching.

Those with no experience of the Mindfulness or Breathing or Metta Bhavana (Loving Kindness) meditations are welcome to come provided that they attend a Zoom teaching session prior to the event. Contact us at youngbuddhists@ipswichbuddhistcentre.org.uk to find out more.

Read more about the Dharma Day festival here. Note – bringing a “vegan lunch” to share can be something as simple as hummus and carrot sticks, or bread.

How to join

Please use the RSVP form opposite to tell us you are coming. Then just arrive at the Centre 10 minutes before the event is due to start.

There is no charge for this event but please remember that our Centre is powered by generosity.

Your Questions

Is this event suitable for me?

This event is open to anybody in their early 30s or younger. You don’t need any experience of meditation as full instruction will be given.

Do I need to book?

There is no charge for this event but it is helpful if you can tell us you will be coming so we know how many lunches to order.

What should I wear or bring with me?

There are mats and meditation cushions available at the Centre. Just wear clothing you feel relaxed in. You may want to bring a notepad and pen but it isn’t a necessity.
