Generosity is an important part of Buddhist spiritual practice and the Sangha’s generous donations make a big difference to local charities.
The Community Action Kula are putting out this latest appeal for items to help these important local charities.
The dates for collection of donations will be Friday 4th March and Saturday 5th March. If you would like us to collect then please contact us via Slack on the new Community Action Kula channel 2022 or email us on email@example.com
We are asking for specific donations for the Ipswich Family Bank (formerly Suffolk Baby Hub) and Ipswich Outreach (Soup Kitchen), Lighthouse Women’s Aid and FIND (Families in Need food bank).
Below you will find a list of the items needed which we have simplified into one list. We would love to hear from you if you are able to donate any of these items.
Children and baby toys
Children’s food – such as jellies and cereals
Individually wrapped biscuits and cakes
Long grain rice
Toiletries for men, women and children
The Outreach shop is also asking for men’s clothes to be donated to sell in the shop.
