With a brand new year comes brand new dates for your diary. Below are some of the key festival dates and the sangha retreat to look forward to at the Ipswich Buddhist Centre.
The first is Parinirvana Day, the day the Buddha died. This year it will be held on Sunday February 25th. Buddha Day, the day we celebrate the Buddha’s Enlightenment is Sunday May 26th, with Dharma Day on Sunday July 21st. Both are significant days in the Triratna Calendar as is Padmasambhava Day on Sunday September 22nd and Sangha Day, which will be mid-November on Sunday the 17th.
June 7th-9th is the Sangha Retreat at the beautiful Vajrasana in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, with the addition of a Winter Retreat there also, on 6th to 8th December.
