Dharma Day
Sunday, July 21st @ 10:30 am – 4:15 pm
This year the Ipswich Sangha will be celebrating Dharma Day with a focus on Milarepa. This 11th century Tibetan had an extraordinary life story. He produced many songs and poems; became a famed meditator and he was a man of wisdom. Urgyen Sangharakshita (Bhante), the founder of our Buddhist Community – Triratna – wrote about Milarepa, and during our Dharma Day celebrations, we will be referring to Bhante’s works and other writings connected with the great Tibetan. We will have a chance to explore these great works and discover their relevance to our own practice today.
