101 – Hot tub with cream tea and prosecco

Come and enjoy an afternoon of relaxation in a hot-tub for up to 4 people. While you are relaxing in bubbles you can enjoy drinking bubbles (Prosecco). A scrumptious cream tea will also be provided.

102 – Painting of a Buddha or Bodhisattva

An acrylic painting on deep edged canvas with a varnish finish. 20x20cm. The subject can be a Buddha or Bodhisattva of your choice.(I would ask for a degree of artist discretion on the style and interpretation as well as time scale of completion due to outstanding commissions) For my style – You can view my work on instagram:-Patriciapearce4

105 – Go Mexican for supper tonight!

Yummy bean chilli for 2 people. Microwave and serve with rice or jackets and salad. Or pop it in the freezer for one of those ‘too busy to cook’ days.

106 – Concert @ Snape

Join Angie for a concert at the beautiful Snape Maltings – Britten Pears Arts (choice depending on ticket availability) with a cuppa in the River View Cafe and a walk through the reed beds.

107 – Trip in a sailing yacht including lunch

A boat trip for 4 people on a sailing yacht hosted by Barbara and her partner Ian, owner of the boat. The trip would be a 4-5 hour gentle sail on the Rivers Orwell and Stour starting and ending at Woolverstone Marina. The yacht is an 11m Jeanneau called “Sulis” which can accommodate 6 people ie 2 crew (Barbara and Ian) and 4 visitors. Refreshments: are included.

We’ll stop at anchor, probably in the River Stour, for a light lunch. You’ll have the opportunity to join in with the various jobs and to take the helm or just watch if you prefer and enjoy the wind in your hair!

No experience needed but experienced people are welcome too. Age limitations: age 15+ as we only have life jackets for adults. Date: end July or August 2024 at a mutually convenient time but will be weather dependent. Must be taken by end Sept 2024.

108 – Sunset kayaking & riverside picnic for 2 people on the River Stour, near Dedham

Experience a paddle along the river Stour, through tranquil countryside where you will be transported into the land that time forgot. You may even see kingfishers, herons and cormorants, as well as swans and reed warblers. With the setting sun as a backdrop, you will be greeted at the end of the paddle with a vegan picnic to be enjoyed by the river. You will be met at Cattawade picnic site or Stratford St Mary. All equipment and buoyancy aids will be provided.

On an agreed date Aug-Oct 2024.

109 – 4 hrs professional gardening

I can help with pruning, planting, grass cutting, weeding to transform an area of your garden.

110 – 10 day stay in a luxury villa Tobago for 6 people

A 10 day stay in a luxury villa.Tamarind House,in Tobago, which is located in the fishing village of Parlatuvier, and sits overlooking a tropical beach to the front and a rain forest to the rear. This offer caters for a one off group / family of up to six people. Dates will be confirmed subject to availability.

A summer days outing, with a guided walk around the lovely village of Laxfield followed by a 3 course vegan lunch for 6 people at Lower Meadow House. Date can be confirmed by whatever suits the group. ( reserve £25/head)

112 – 2 nights accommodation in North Wales

Airbnb for 2 nights stay for up to 2 people on the beautiful Llyn Peninsular, in North Wales. Within walking distance to Black Rock sands, Sampson’s Bay and Porthmadog golf club. Providing an excellent base for local site seeing and touring, including Snowdon, Criccieth Castle and Steam Railways.

The offer is a large double bedroom with lovely views, in a detached house (the owner’s home) with a king-size bed and en-suite shower room. Kettle can be provided in the bedroom, the use of the kitchen is by negotiation with the owner, however local eateries are available, off-road parking with a private garden for your use.

Your stay could be extended @ £80 per night by private arrangement and payable direct to the owner.

Pets: one very well behaved dog permitted.
Access: not suitable for those with mobility issues

Have you an area of your home or garden that needs clearing up?
I am offering 2-3 hours with either help decluttering or just show me what needs to be cleared away and put your feet up!
If there’s any rubbish to be taken away, I can do one tip run using a 4×3 feet trailer.

117- A porfolio workshop

Do you, a student, a friend or relative have a desire to work in the design and illustration industry?

Simon has over 35 years of experience in the world of design and illustration, working for companies including WHSmith, Paperchase, Early Learning Centre, Hallmark Cards, The Art Group, Mothercare, Aldi and many book publishers.

Simon will spend time with you to discuss all aspects of this industry. Is getting an agent a good idea? What should I look for in a publishing contract? What are buyers and commissioning agents looking for? What worldwide markets should I target? How do I get my work in front of the right people?

All these questions, and many more can be discussed, in addition to a portfolio ‘clinic’ where we can look at what works in your folio, and the gaps that could be filled.

This is a flexible promise, that will be tailored around your specific needs. Come for lunch, and come armed with questions!

I’d like to offer a session to support you to connect with yourself and others by opening to life with embodied awareness, courage and love.

122 – Your old prints or slides on your phone or reprinted

Up to 24 x 35mm slides or 12 prints, digitised and repaired/cleaned-up to provide you with digital images which you can share with friends and view on your phone, tablet or computer or have reprints made.

123- Professional Portrait Session

A 2hr portrait session for one to four people on location or at my (small) photography studio in Melton. Includes refreshments, a set of digital images for sharing, three mounted prints at about 9″x6″ and one larger up to approx. 12″x8″. Additional prints will be available at cost plus a bit for the fundraiser. We will discuss in advance what you want from the session and how best to achieve the outcome you want.

124 – Handmade natural Yuletide wreath

Add some traditional beauty to your front door this winter without damaging the planet. Trained by the floral experts at the Beth Chatto Gardens, I can make you a unique natural door hanging in December (to be ready for the date of your choosing). I could make it from the plants in your own garden, or naturally and ethically foraged material.

125 – Custom applique design

I will applique a design of your choice onto an item of yours.  Do you have an item of clothing you would like to give a little zhuzh? Would you like your sweatshirt to make a statement? How about getting an appliqued design to give it a unique look? Applique is a technique of sewing fabric images onto another fabric.

The technique will alter the clothing permanently so choose carefully. Suitable for denim, sweatshirts, tee shirts, jackets and fleece. Not suitable for knitwear or lightweight material such as chiffon, georgette, etc.

127 – Mirror window film

Fed up with net curtains? Have you ever thought of mirror windows? I will supply and install ‘Silver 20’ window film to up to 12 residential window panes. I first installed window film in 1998. I successfully completed the ‘Residential & Commercial Window Film’ course with John den Braber of Ultimate Tinting in 2019.  You will need to remove all curtains and clear any items from around the windows.  (Sorry, I cannot install film on windows with wooden frames) Please measure your windows before bidding. There is no reserve price, but please note that the commercial rate for this would be approx. £60+VAT per square metre.

128 – Soup Day

Do you wish to learn how to make some truly tasty soups, using the finest vegan ingredients? I will come to your house at a mutually agreed time, and spend the afternoon soup making with you, plus up to five guests.  My chef training was at the Concord Institute London with chef Jean Torne, who was a pupil of Michio Kushi, one of the co-founders of the modern macrobiotic movement.  You will need a kitchen large enough to easily accommodate all the guests you have invited/ knifes and chopping boards for each of them/ two 2.5L pans/ enough Tupperware for 5 litres and space for them in your freezer/ a four ring hob.  (Sorry, I cannot be in a kitchen with an induction hob, as they tend to make me ill)

129 – Beginners Wood turning for a day.

Come and learn the basics of woodturning for a whole day , including lunch. Learn how to use a lathe , wood turning tools, how to sand and finish your work on different types of wood for a project of your own choosing. This hobby is very rewarding with some wonderful and beautiful creations made for a single piece of wood.

130 – Gel printing workshop

A 3hr beginner’s workshop on this fun and spontaneous printing technique. Create unique images and patterns using stencils, masks, found objects and more. This trial and error printing technique is a wonderful way of creating without worry and judgement – its just playing with colour and shape. Absolutely no experience necessary. Drinks and cake provided! The workshop will be for three people (three separate lots) at a time that suits us all.

131 – Make a pot with Jnanamitra

A half day session learning how to throw on the wheel (Yes I can teach you how to throw a pot on the wheel!) followed by a two hour session trimming and decorating. This offer includes the time I give and the electricity used to fire and glaze your pots.

132 – 4 hours labouring – 2 workers x 2hrs

4 hours labouring – 2 hours work from two hard-working labourers who will do whatever you need – heavy items moved, a hole dug, basic DIY such as picture hanging, garden clearance.
People can’t keep up with these two! You won’t be disappointed!
