We are delighted that one of the local charities that we support through our Community Action collections Ipswich Outreach as been awarded The Kings Award for Voluntary Service. It’s like an MBE for voluntary organisations.
For more than 30 years Ipswich Outreach has provided sustenance to people experiencing hunger or homelessness in Ipswich. A number of our Sangha volunteer regularly at the daily soup kitchens on the streets of Ipswich.
We send our warmest congratulations to Ian and his family who have led the charity for more than 30 years. Ian and his son Bradley will be heading to Buckingham Palace to pick up their award in the new year.
