Can we really find happiness in more and more distraction, and having ever more stuff? Buddhism tells us that this won’t work – but that there is a real happiness to be found, if we look in the right place.
Over six Wednesday evenings, you will learn the two most important Buddhist meditation practices, and try out some powerful Buddhist wisdom teachings that can change the way we see the world.
Using a combination of teaching, discussion and meditation, this course will give you the tools to transform your life using the practical and profound teachings of Buddhism.

Is this course suitable for me?
This course is open to you whether you have yet attended any sessions at the Buddhist Centre or not.
Do I need to attend all six sessions?
It’s best if you can but we understand that life gets in the way sometimes!
What do I need to bring with me?
You don’t need any course materials. Cushions and mats for meditation are provided. A notebook and pen could be useful.
