Parinirvana Day
Sunday, February 25th @ 10:30 am – 4:00 pm
The Parinirvana Festival Day is our opportunity to mark the end of the Buddha’s earthly existence and an opportunity to reflect on the life and death of our teacher and our own experience of impermanence.
If you wish to bring a photograph of a friend or loved one who has died during the recent past, please do and they will be remembered in the puja.

- 11.45 Tea Break
- 12.00 Five Reflections followed by musical offering
- 1.00 Lunch – Please bring vegan lunch to share
- 2.00 Mahaparinibbana Sutta
- 3.00 Vajrasattva Mantra
- 3.30 Puja with Readings
- Finish at 4pm
How to join
No need to book. Just turn up. Doors open at 10am.

This event is suitable for those familiar with our two meditations, The Mindfulness of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana.
Do I need to pay?
These events are offered without charge however we encourage donations on every visit to the Centre. There is a contactless donation system at the Centre or you can donate online using the link above.
Do I need to book?
No. Just turn up. Please bring vegan food to share at lunchtime.
