Last Friday of the Month Puja

Friday, May 31st @ 7:00 pm 9:00 pm

The last Friday evening of the month is Puja Night. This event is for those who are familiar with Buddhist Ritual; but everyone is welcome along to enjoy the special nature of a Puja. If you have not experienced a Triratna Puja before let the leader know this is your first Buddhist Ritual. They will be happy to provide guidance along the way.

This month will be a Seven-Fold Puja to Nagajuna, who lived in the 2nd century CE. He was a Buddhist philosopher who explored and then explained the doctrine of śunyata (emptiness). Nagajuna is traditionally regarded as the founder of the Madhyamika (The Middle Way) school, which is an important part of the tradition of Mahayana Buddhism.
