Urban Retreat – The Mystery of Metta!

‘Metta has the taste of freedom. If you are able to act out of Metta you are acting as if the distinction between yourself and others simply did not exist. In doing so, you free yourself from the power of the illusion separate self. This is Insight’.
Join us on our Urban Retreat at Ipswich Buddhist Centre – a rare and special weekend. Enjoy your connection with the Three Jewels with various activities amidst your daily life.
We will start Friday evening with a welcome and ritual; Saturday and Sunday will be full days whilst returning to your home overnight.
Timings:
Friday 19.00-21.30
Saturday 07.00-21.30
Sunday 07.00 – 16.00
This retreat is only suitable for those who are able to attend the whole event.

How to Join
Booking closes Sunday 22nd October. Please use the booking form opposite. Doors open at the Centre at 6.30pm Friday evening. If you have any queries please email retreats@ipswichbuddhistcentre.org.uk
This is an urban retreat, which means you will stay in your own home at night, but spend lots of time during the weekend at the Centre.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this Urban Retreat suitable for me?
This retreat is open to beginners and those who have been going to the Centre for sometime. You will not stay at the Centre but go home each evening and return the next morning.
What do I need to bring?
All food is provided, and will be vegan. You may want to bring a notepad and pen to make notes.
Do I have to stay for the whole retreat?
