International Sangha Day

A Festival of Light: 28th November

What does Sangha mean to you?

Most of the time our sense of Sangha is naturally focused around our local situation, our local Centre or group, perhaps even our circle of Sangha friends within that.

But you are also part of a global Sangha – tens of thousands of people who Go For Refuge. They live in different circumstances, expressing Sangha in culturally diverse ways, and yet all unmistakably ‘Triratna’.

International Sangha Day is an opportunity to experience that for yourself: to do puja with the Mexican Sangha, hear and discuss talks on practicing the Dharma in other cultures, and chant mantras at Bhante’s burial mound.

You are warmly invited to join in, for as little or as much as you wish.
