Suffolk Baby Bank

The Ipswich Buddhist Centre Community Action kula is responding to an urgent appeal from the Suffolk Baby Bank. The Suffolk Baby Bank, which supports babies in need and their parents, has put out an urgent appeal for donations of Cow & Gate and SMA baby milk, tinned fruit, tinned vegetables and children’s cereals. The collection runs until 11th April.

The Community Action kula says…

Firstly, a big thank you for the most recent appeal for donations to the Soup Kitchen. Another fantastic response from our amazing Sangha for which we are so very grateful.

It has been highlighted that the Suffolk Baby Hub are also desperately in need of some items, this is another charity that we would also like to support. It is heartbreaking to hear that some parents cannot feed their babies. The immediate appeal is for SMA and Cow & Gate baby milk, tinned fruit, tinned veg and children’s cereal. If anyone can help with this appeal then please contact the Community Action Kula via Slack or contact enquiries@ipswichbuddhistcentre.org.uk where we can arrange collection of your donation.

The next full Kula collection will be launched on Buddha day in May; for the Soup Kitchen and the Women’s Lighthouse and will also include Suffolk Baby Hub. Details for what is needed will be published nearer the time.

Many thanks from all of the Community Action Kula for your continued and valued support for these charities.
