Dark & Light outdoor ritual – Dark

Bridge Wood

This is the first part of a mindful ritual in two parts. We meet in the dark at 7.30 pm on Saturday 23rd, and in the light at 11.30 am on the 25th.

The ritual involves a walk i silence along a path in the wood to a big oak tree, where we meditate and chant and then walk on down to the Orwell shore and back again.

It’s a special experience to walk in a wood in the dark. We go whatever the weather. The second part on 25th December at 11.30am is the same again in the light when the same wood is magically different.

What should I bring?

Dress warmly. Bring a folding chair and a thin piece of wood as an offering

No. You can just turn up but don’t be late or you will miss us!
