When Hank’s Deli, the vegan store in Ipswich, read in the Evening Star, about our Community Action kula’s collection for Lighthouse Women’s Aid and Ipswich Outreach (for people who are homeless), they were moved to help. They got in touch to offer many non-vegan products that their suppliers had sent in error.
‘We are overwhelmed with their generosity’ said Sue who collected the donations. ‘It just shows how one generous act can inspire another. It was a completely spontaneous responce by Hanks Deli when they read about our collection in the paper.’
